Drinking Water for Healthy Skin Along With Using The Best Natural Skincare Products
Up to 60% of our body is water, so it makes sense that drinking water for healthy skin is going to be beneficial for all of our bodily functions and, along with the best natural skincare poducts assist us in achieving healthy skin. However, what most people don’t realise is that everything liquid counts towards our daily water intake (although obviously there are drinks that count, but aren’t necessarily healthy such as alcohol and sugary soft drinks) and we can also take in a lot of water from natural foods with a high water content such as cucumber and watermelon.
Therefore, the old adage of how we must drink eight glasses of water each day for has room for interpretation! If you’re not a fan of the taste of water, there are ways to increase your daily intake without forcing down pure water, so here are some suggestions about drinking water for healthy skin along with using the best natural skincare products.
Try adding natural fruit to water. It adds a gentle and healthy flavour to water and takes away the harsh taste that many people don’t like. If you’d like to take water bottles out and about with you, you could cut up some natural fruit, add it to each bottle and leave them in the fridge overnight.This gives the fruit and chance to infuse the water giving it a stronger flavour.
Tea is a great source of water and something that we absolutely love here at the Savar Natural Skincare office! Adding milk and sugar can make it a lot less healthy, so for some seriously healthy tea options, go for fruit or green tea. Our favourite here at Savar is Healtherie’s Strawberry and Lime tea.
Whilst drinking water doesn’t necessarily by itself hydrate our skin (it’s certainly not an adequate cure for dry skin conditions) it does ensure everything works better, therefore giving our skin a better chance at repairing problems independently and along with the best natural skincare products help us achieve healthy skin!
